Domeka Parker -- PST's StorySLAM, Singlehandedly

Domeka Parker

Born into a performance family, Domeka deliberately avoided the stage out of sheer teenage spite. Until one sunny afternoon when pretending to be a mountain goat whilst moving furniture, it became suddenly clear, performance was in her blood and simply couldn’t be helped. The mother of three, teacher of improvisational theater, producer, college student and improvisational performer is now gracing the storytelling stage for the first time (because she has so much spare time). With a child balanced on one hip, another wrapped around one leg and a third complaining about not having a facebook page, Domeka is delighted to be a part of this incredible event.

The Night I Died is a story about Domeka’s adolescent adventures into the dark and dangerous world of teenage homelessness and emotional vacuity and the subsequent awakening brought about by a foul-intentioned cult awaiting the “mothership”.
Catch Domeka at the StorySLAM, Friday May 14th.
