Jordon Herskowitz -- PST's Solo Performance Festival, Singlehandedly

Jordan Herskowitz

An accomplished actor, playwright, and teacher, Jordan's theatrical credits include Hamlet, A Doll’s House, and seven different characters in Indoor/Outdoor. Since 2008, Jordan has had international success touring with his award-winning autobiographical one-man show, Growing Up Jordy Pordy. In addition to acting and writing, Jordan has a passion for teaching. He is a mentor through the Big Brothers & Sisters organization and has developed and taught original creative drama curriculum for talent agencies, community centers, and faith-based groups. Jordan has travelled extensively around the world, leading workshops and performing in the US, UK, South Africa, Argentina, and Austria.

Growing Up Jordy Pordy is writer and performer Jordan Herskowitz's hilarious and heart-warming personal story about life as a professional mascot. But once his furry gloves come off, Herskowitz reveals his own struggles of growing up Jewish in Texas, being the forgotten middle child with both of his brothers born with cystic fibrosis, and his family's journey with organ donation. Growing Up Jordy Pordy defies the lines of theatre norm with Herskowitz flawlessly playing over 30 characters. Herskowitz's intimate and touching performance will mesmerize people of all ages and backgrounds from beginning to end. See the show that The News Lines calls "a performance masterpiece!" It's all part of PST's Solo Performance Festival, Singlehandedly.
Catch Jordan on Saturday May 8th.
