Penny Walter

"As a child I would often get in trouble for having my head in the clouds, now I make a living from it." I am a full time puppeteer and Storyteller (no really, I am). I spend most of my time with the Toddler and Preschool set. But I love the challenge and find much personal joy in telling to adults too. As a performer I am involved and various projects that sometimes include puppets and sometimes not. These other projects range in age appropriateness from working with toddlers to working in retirement communities, to performing an evening show in a grownup setting. All of my projects involve story and the importance of connecting and sharing our commonalities as humans. Stories connect us and everyone has a "life" story to tell and a need to share our living life story.

Out of the Box

Ever wonder what life would be like to be a child entertainer? Well, Penny of Penny's Puppet Productions (PPP) would like to share her experience with you. Penny will weave in and out of reality and the box (the puppet theater) through the use of puppets, music and story to disclose the secrets of how to follow your dreams, trust the universe and still have time to walk the dogs. It's all part of PST's Solo Performance Festival, Singlehandedly!
