his adult life. He has a keen fascination for Antarctica, is a lover of
limericks, and enjoys homemade ginger ale. He currently lives in Portland,
Oregon with his wife of thirty years, PST co-founder Lynne Duddy.
The Night On The Island
The Night On The Island is a true personal story about surviving a
fearsome lightning storm, huddled under a canoe on a tiny island in a huge
lake, miles and miles from anything. It's about sharing your spaghetti
sandwich with a stranger on the bus. It's about geese flying south and the
six grandfathers of the universe and learning how to paddle your own
canoe. It's about a young man's quest to find his place in the world.
Created and Performed by Lawrence Howard, The Night On The Island is part of PST's Solo Performance Festival, Singlehandedly!
