Lynne Duddy
Lynne likes to tell stories. She'll go almost anywhere where there are people ready to hear a story.
She has a deep abiding appreciation of solo work and is the Executive Producer of Portland Story Theater's Solo Performance Festival, Singlehandedly!
Lynne is curious about all branches of human learning and recently fulfilled her life-long dream of earning a university degree, magna cum laude!
She has an inexhaustible amount of creative energy that she channels into evangelizing about story and the importance it plays in our lives.
A true urbanite and Oregon native, Lynne lives with her husband of 30 years and her good old dog in Northeast Portland.
Ah, we Irish are a melancholy lot but we're full of magical thinking, with a history deeply rooted in mythology and mysticism.
Yes, the world knows us as poets and minstrels, lovers and fighters. Our ferociousness is only matched by our sense of tragedy.
We Irish do have an abiding sense of tragedy, which sustains us through temporary periods of joy.
Éist! Is Éireannach mé! (Listen! I'm Irish!) is a true story of the serendipitous windings of fate that brought the love child of one father
under the protection of another.
